Senior Kickboxing

The senior classes at Elite Kickboxing Academy are for ages 13 and over male and female and there is no real age limit as kickboxing is suitable for all ages.Training is conducted in a friendly enviroment with the emphasis on fitness,enjoyment and confidence building.Whether you are experienced or a complete beginner training is tailored to your own specific needs and the progress you make will depend on how much effort you put in to your kickboxing training and how often you train.We operate a grading syllabus at the academy,but this is not compulsory for adults who just wish to train without the added pressure of belt testing.Sparring is a very important part of kickboxing and everyone is encouraged to participate ,however light contact sparring for adults is not compulsory but is so if you wish to grade.The training sessions consist of a warm and stretch to properly prepare your muscles for training,shadow boxing and skipping,linework,extensive focus pad and kickshield work,self defence training, light contact sparring and circuit training.
